Set up access to the Central Park Public API directly within the Central Park portal

^{*You must be a Customer Administrator with existing access to the Central Park portal to be able to create and manage Public API Credentials}

1. Log in to Central Park

2. Navigate to ParkView and select Credential Manager

   

3. Select Create Credential

   

4. Next, click “Select a Credential Type” and choose “Public API”

   

5. Click Generate and Save Public API

   

6. The credentials will be created and displayed for you to copy

   • Client ID

   • Client Secret*

     ^{*For security reasons, the Client Secret will be displayed only one-time}

   **Authentication through our public API documentation site (on the Central Park tab) is currently unavailable. We’re actively working to resolve this. In the meantime, you can authenticate and test requests using any API platform such as Postman.
